How is the NEUBIE device different from traditional e-stim devices?

Simply put, it takes an opposite approach to conventional e-stim devices. The NEUBIE is a direct current device (DC) whereas most traditional e-stim devices use alternating currents (AC). Our nervous system is designed like a direct current device, so this form of current is mimicking the current your body already uses, thereby, increasing effectiveness and timeliness of healing and recovery.

What is neuromuscular re-education?

Neuromuscular re-education is used to facilitate the return to normal movement patterns in patients with neuromuscular impairments.

Turning 80 years old is traumatic! While I’ve been relatively healthy most of my life, I have the usual aches and pains of growing older – lower back pain, arthritic thumbs, frequent sinus headaches, and feet that are less than beautiful with bunions and hammer toes.

My husband was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy about three years ago. The involvement was fairly extensive…from his feet to just below his knees in both legs.

His gait was more of a shuffle and his pace was very slow. He experienced no pain, but there was minimal feeling.

My elderly but very active dog, BaltoBoy, was suffering from Intervertebral Disc Disease which caused his back toes drag on his walks.
